Dhaka, Dec. 18 -- The day began on 16 December 2025 at 12:01 PM by blowing whistles for 1 minute in a row by all ships and vessels located in the port's waters.

At 6:30 AM, with sunrise, the national flag was hoisted in all important offices, residential buildings, vessels located in the channel, educational institutions, and clubs/parliaments of the Chattagram Port Authorit (CPA).

At 8:30 AM, the Chairman, Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman, OSP, NDC, NCC, PSC, hoisted the national flag at the memorial monument at the CPA Republic Club and received the salute and laid a wreath.
