Dhaka, June 11 -- Cox's Bazar, the world's longest natural sea beach, has become a bustling hotspot as hundreds of thousands of tourists flock to the area during the Eid holidays.
An estimated nine lakh visitors are expected over the 10-day holiday period, with more than 200,000 tourists already seen on the approximately 3-kilometre stretch of beach near Sugandha Point on Monday afternoon, reports BSS.
Families from across the country have traveled to Cox's Bazar to enjoy the holiday, engaging in activities such as swimming, jet skiing, horse riding, and beach games. Despite the vibrant atmosphere, concerns remain as many visitors ignore the red flags warning of strong currents and dangerous sea conditions.
