Dhaka, Dec. 10 -- A Dhaka court on Tuesday ordered the seizure of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal's vehicles and multiple land properties as part of an Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) investigation into allegations of illegally amassed wealth.

Vacation judge Md Abdullah Al Mamun of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court issued the order after reviewing an application filed by ACC Deputy Director Afroza Haque Khan. The order covers two cars, a 10-katha plot in the New Town project at Purbachal, and 118 kathas of land in Dohar and Ashulia.

ACC Public Relations Officer Akhtarul Islam confirmed that the estimated value of the seized assets stands at Tk4.79 crore.
