Dhaka, Dec. 24 -- A Dhaka court has ordered the freezing of eight bank accounts belonging to the prime accused, Faisal Karim Masud, and his associates in the murder case of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
The order was issued by Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, judge of the vacation bench of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court.
Confirming the development, Dhaka Metropolitan Public Prosecutor Omar Faruk Faruki said the investigating officer of the case, Detective Branch (DB) Inspector Faisal Ahmed of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, submitted an application seeking suspension of transactions in eight bank accounts linked to the accused and his associates.
