Dhaka, Feb. 13 -- The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday asked the lower court to complete the trial of expelled Awami League leader Rupon Bhuiyan in two months in a case of recovering over five kilograms of gold from his house at Sutrapur area in the capital.

The Special Court-6 of Dhaka is scheduled to record the depositions of the 14th prosecution witness in the case filed with the Sutrapur Police Station in January of 2020, Assistant Attorney General Saiful Alam told the media.

He disclosed that 21 people have been made witnesses in the case.
