Dhaka, Oct. 12 -- Newly appointed Public Administration Senior Secretary Md Ehsanul Hoque has pledged to ensure that field administration officers carry out their duties fairly in the upcoming national parliamentary elections. He made the commitment on Sunday afternoon while talking to reporters after formally assuming office.

Ehsanul Hoque, who previously served on a contractual basis as senior secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Division, was appointed Senior Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry earlier in the day.
