Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- The Public Administration Reform Commission has suggested restructuring the country into four provinces, aligning with its historic divisions aiming to introduce a provincial administration system for improved governance.

The proposal seeks to decentralise power, enhance service delivery efficiency, and ease the administrative burden on Dhaka.

Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder disclosed the matter during a media briefing in front of the State Guest House Jamuna on Wednesday.
