Dhaka, Dec. 12 -- A colorful rally was held in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, keeping in mind the 'Harmony Festival', a symbol of multicultural harmony.
On Thursday morning, under the initiative of the Bangladesh Tourism Board and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and in cooperation with the Srimangal Upazila administration, people of various ethnic groups including Khasi, Garo, Tripura, and Manipuri participated in the rally wearing their own clothes.
Srimangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Islam Uddin, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohibullah Akon and others were present at the rally. Srimangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Islam Uddin said, 26 gazetted small ethnic groups live in our Srimangal.
