Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- A clash erupted at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on Tuesday afternoon between two student groups over opposing stances on banning student politics. The confrontation involved members of the student wing and general students, leaving at least 15 people injured.
The identities of the injured were not immediately known. Eyewitnesses reported that around noon, students marched through the university dormitories, chanting slogans such as "No place for student politics at KUET," "We demand a politics-free campus," and "Student politics will not be allowed here."
