Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- In a bid to enhance transparency and public oversight in governance, the Public Administration Reform Commission has put forth a proposal to establish 'Nagorik Committees' at both district and upazila levels.
The initiative also recommends including student representatives in these committees to ensure a broader societal perspective.
The commission, led by its chief, Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, formally presented its report to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus today (5 February) at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The recommendations aim to strengthen civic participation and accountability in the administration.
