Dhaka, Aug. 27 -- China firmly backs Bangladesh in its efforts to improve livelihoods and promote social development, standing in solidarity with the Bangladeshi government and people through challenges and successes, said Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Tuesday.
Speaking at a ceremony, Ambassador Yao expressed hope that China and Bangladesh will continue to exchange experiences in modernization and development, advance high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and jointly contribute to building a community with a shared future for humanity.
