Dhaka, May 30 -- The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) will host the China-Bangladesh Conference on Investment and Trade on June 1, aiming to boost foreign investment and strengthen economic ties between the two nations.

The daylong summit is being jointly organised by the governments of Bangladesh and China. According to BIDA sources, the event will bring together approximately 250 Chinese investors and business delegates from nearly 100 companies, including senior executives from six to seven Fortune 500 firms.

BIDA officials have described the delegation as the largest Chinese business group to visit Bangladesh to date, marking a significant step forward in bilateral trade and investment relations.
