Dhaka, July 25 -- China and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations on Thursday held discussions on enhancing agricultural cooperation and strengthening food security in Bangladesh through trilateral initiatives.

The discussion took place when Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen met with Ye Anping, Director of FAO's South-South and Triangular Cooperation Division, at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, reports BSS.

During the meeting, both sides explored avenues for deepening collaboration between China and FAO in supporting Bangladesh's agricultural development and long-term food security goals said a press release of the Chinese Embassy.
