Dhaka, April 29 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus formally inaugurated Police Week 2025 at a ceremony held at the Rajarbagh Police Lines on Tuesday morning.

Following the inauguration, the Chief Adviser held a view-exchange session with senior police officials at the Rajarbagh Police Auditorium.

This year's Police Week is being observed under the theme "Amar Police, Amar Desh - Boishommyohin Bangladesh" (My Police, My Country - A Discrimination-Free Bangladesh).

"We want to embed this message in the hearts of our citizens-that the police of Bangladesh, free from discrimination, are truly their own," said the Inspector General of Police (IGP), emphasizing the significance of the theme.
