Dhaka, Oct. 17 -- Chanchal Chowdhury has started shooting for his latest Tollywood venture 'Shekor', directed by noted filmmaker Bratya Basu.
The film went on floors recently, and Chanchal joined the shoot on Monday in Birbhum, Kolkata.
Film 'Shekor' is inspired by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay's short stories 'Drabmoyeer Kashibash' and 'Dadu'. The story centres on the lives of elderly men and women from two rural communities.
Actor Loknath Dey portrays the elderly man, while Seema Biswas plays the elderly woman. Chanchal takes on the role of Loknath's son, with Poulami Basu appearing as his wife.
Speaking to the Indian media, Chanchal shared that the film beautifully captures a father-son relationship that deeply resonates with him.
