Dhaka, July 27 -- Chief Election Commissioner A M M Nasir Uddin has warned of potential threats posed by artificial intelligence (AI) in the lead-up to the next general election, affirming that the Election Commission (EC) remains fully alert to address such challenges.

Speaking to reporters before a meeting with Khulna divisional election officials at the Khulna Regional Election Commissioner's Office on Saturday, the CEC emphasised the EC's vigilance against any AI-driven attempts that could affect the electoral process.
