Dhaka, May 20 -- The court has ordered a stay on the election ceremony of Bangladesh Film Directors' Association (BFDA). Regardless of that ban, elections for a new term were held at the Dhaka Reporters' Unit on May 9. Therefore, the court ordered a stay of all activities and results of that election. On May 12, the senior judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Court gave this order. Along with this, a case and summons have been issued against Election Commission Chairman Abdul Latif Bachchu for violating a court order.Film director and former leader of the organisation Badiul Alam Khokon file a case in court for violating the constitution and holding elections.
