Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- The rate of disposal of cases in the subordinate courts across the country has increased by 32.40 per cent, according to a report of the Supreme Court administration.

In the first six months, from January to June this year, the disposal rate of the cases was average 91.90 per cent. However, period of the last year, the average disposal during the corresponding rate of the cases was 59.50 per cent.

According to the report, a total of 0.74 million civil and criminal cases were filed in the subordinate courts from January 1 to June 30 this year. During this time, 0.68 million cases were settled in the subordinate courts.
