Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- The capital of the Syed Abdul Hai Memorial Trust Fund at the Dhaka University (DU) has been raised following a donation of Taka 1,45,000.
On behalf of the donor family, Professor Dr Shah Kawthar Mustafa Abululayee, Chairman of the Department of Philosophy at DU, handed over the cheque to DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan during a ceremony on Sunday.
With this contribution, the total capital of the trust fund now stands at Tk 3 lakh, said a press release.
