Dhaka, May 14 -- Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain said that campaigns on social media, as well as electronic and print media, must be intensified to raise awareness about dengue.

Asif emphasized the importance of increasing NGO involvement in raising dengue awareness at the rural level, saying that members of voluntary organizations such as BNCC and Scouts, as well as religious institutions including mosques and temples, must be engaged to boost public participation.
