India, Jan. 5 -- The Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) has demanded that the government take immediate and exemplary legal action to stop the activities of syndicates and hoarders in the country's daily necessities - LPG, sugar, and edible oil.

CAB, Kishoreganj district committee President Alam Sarowar Tito, Executive President advocate Maya Bhowmick and General Secretary Monowar Hossein Rony were made in a joint statement sent on Saturday.

It said that in recent times, the unreasonable increase in the prices of LPG, Sugar and edible oil in the domestic market has created frustration, anxiety and anger among the general consumers.
