Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to hold discussions with leaders of seven additional political parties on Tuesday at 5 pm at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The Chief Adviser's press wing confirmed the development on Monday. Dr. Yunus separately met with leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jamaat-e-Islami, and the National Citizen Party (NCP) at the same venue on Sunday to discuss the upcoming national polls and the current political landscape.
During those meetings, the head of the interim government reiterated that the next general election will be conducted within the first half of February next year.
