Dhaka, April 3 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus reaches in Bangkok on Thursday to participate in the sixth Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit, scheduled to take place from April 2-4.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the chief adviser and his entourage landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at approximately 12pm local time. Thai Minister in Attendance, Jiraporn Shinduprai, welcomed Professor Yunus at the airport.
During his visit, the chief adviser will address the BIMSTEC summit and engage in bilateral discussions with leaders from member states. A key meeting is scheduled with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, where they are expected to discuss matter...
