Dhaka, Dec. 13 -- Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has ordered an immediate and full-scale investigation into the shooting of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson and Dhaka-8 independent aspirant Sharif Osman Hadi, who was critically injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on him in Dhaka's Paltan area on Thursday.

In a press statement, the Chief Adviser's Office said Yunus expressed "deep concern" over the attack and instructed law enforcement agencies to identify and arrest all those involved without delay.

He directed investigators to collect evidence from the scene, take eyewitness accounts, and review CCTV footage to determine whether the shooting was part of a coordinated plot.
