Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday directed law enforcement agencies to promptly apprehend those responsible for the killing of Osman Hadi, along with others involved in unlawful activities, and to ensure the country's law and order situation remains stable ahead of the upcoming national election.

"Maintaining normal law and order before the national election is mandatory under all circumstances," he said.

The directive came during a law and order review meeting held at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka, according to a statement issued by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing on Monday.
