Dhaka, March 20 -- Bangladesh's interim Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has expressed confidence in the country's military, praising its professionalism and dedication to national security.

His remarks came following a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman on Wednesday at the state guest house, Jamuna.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the discussion highlighted the military's crucial role in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and maintaining stability.
