Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday instructed law enforcement agencies to provide full cooperation to Dhaka University (DU) authorities to ensure a peaceful and festive environment during Tuesday's Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections.

He issued the directive while chairing a high-level meeting at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka, where the overall law and order situation of the country was reviewed.

Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Shafiqul Alam, disclosed the matter at a press briefing held at the Foreign Service Academy following the meeting.
