Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus has urged swift and decisive action to recover billions of stolen funds from both the banking sector and other financial channels. This plea comes as the government plans to introduce a new law to streamline the legal process for recovering the stolen money.
Speaking at a crucial meeting with the 11-member taskforce formed in September of last year, Dr. Yunus emphasized the need for an expedited recovery process. The meeting, held at the Foreign Service Academy, was also attended by key government officials, including the Chief Adviser's Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam.
