Dhaka, March 20 -- Four people were killed and two others injured when as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Ishwardi-Dashuria road in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district on Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The bus crashed into the CNG-run auto-rickshaw around 5:30pm in front of Baharpur Mallika Agro Food, leaving four people dead on the spot and two others injured, said Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
Police seized the bus but its driver and helper managed to flee.
