Dhaka, Oct. 23 -- The university authorities temporarily expelled Sreeshanth Roy, a student of Ahsan Ullah Hall, 21st batch, EEE Department, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), on Wednesday night for allegedly confessing to raping his Muslim student and making obscene and offensive remarks about Muslim women and clothing on the social media Reddit and the student was arrested and sent to the police court, where he was sent to jail under the Cyber Security Act.
