Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has allegedly pushed a Bangladeshi woman and her two daughters across the Dariapur border in Mujibnagar upazila of Meherpur.
On Friday morning, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained the three after they crossed into Bangladeshi territory and handed them over to Mujibnagar police.
The detainees were identified as Momota Begum (60), wife of Abdus Salam from Bagerhat, and her daughters Moyna Begum (30) and Mahinur (25).
Momota told police that she had been living in Haryana, India, for the past 30 years, where her daughters were also married. Recently, Indian police arrested them and handed them over to BSF.
