Dhaka, April 9 -- Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industry Corporation (BSCIC) will provide full support to beekeepers and mowals for collecting honey during the coronavirus crisis.

"Due to the limited movement of traffic across the country, mowals (honey collectors) and beekeepers are facing problem in collecting honey. As the honey collection season has begun in the Sundarbans, BSCIC will provide all sorts of supports to the mowal for collecting honey," said an Industries Ministry press release.

Project Director of the BSCIC Beekeeping by Modern Method Project Khandaker Aminuzzaman said that the season of honey collection across the country is from October 15 to May 31.
