Dhaka, Aug. 28 -- Rangpur's Begum Rokeya University (BRU) Shaheed Mukhtar Elahi Hall Provost Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman has not been coming to the hall for about a month. Students are demanding that he either come to the hall or a new provost should be appointed.
Meanwhile, various problems have arisen due to the vacancy of the provost. Several problems have arisen, including poor quality of food in the hall, broken water filter, and non-working WiFi. The provost has taken no initiative to solve these.
According to the Registrar's Office, Hall Provost Kamruzzaman submitted his resignation on the afternoon of August 7 due to mismanagement of special food on August 5. Since then, he has not been coming to the hall.
