Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- Rangpur's Begum Rokeya University (BRU is going to start the first-year undergraduate classes from today (Sunday). The university administration is taking a strict stance on ragging with first-year students.

On Saturday, the university's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shawkat Ali said, "We have zero tolerance for ragging. No one will be spared here. If anyone is found ragging, we will take action according to the prevailing laws of the university through the disciplinary committee."

He also said, like last time, this time too, we will keep complaint boxes in the residential halls and academic buildings. Anyone can lodge a complaint here anonymously. In addition, they will be given the number of the proctor's office. So ...
