Dhaka, Oct. 22 -- Professor Arshad Mahmud Chowdhury, Dean of the BSRM School of Engineering and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), has been appointed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BRAC University, effective from 20 October 2025.

Serving as the dean since 2019 and IQAC director since 2022, Professor Chowdhury has over two decades of academic, research, and leadership experience in higher education in Bangladesh and abroad. He previously held several key academic and administrative positions at North South University and contributed extensively to international research collaborations.
