Dhaka, April 2 -- Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) has got a new look amid massive infrastructural development during the last 14 years since 2009 contributing a lot towards meeting its missions and visions.

Misbah Uddin, Additional Chief Engineer of Public Works Department (PWD), said they have implemented 25 need-based schemes in the BPA at a total cost of around Taka 104.67 crore.

Established at Sardah under Charghat Upazila in Rajshahi district in 1912, the BPA has been playing a pioneering role towards enhancing professionalism in policing through need based training.

It has also been developing human resources with sound capability and integrity as the apex training institution of the Bangladesh Police for a long time.
