Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- The police have recovered the body of a young man named Imdadul Sarkar (40) from the side of the highway in Shahzadpur , Sirajganj.
The body was recovered from the Balu Point area of the Talgachhi Karatoya River on the Bogra Nagarbari Highway in the upazila at around 10 am on Saturday. The deceased Imdadul Sarkar is the son of Ledu Sarkar of Makorkola village in the upazila.
The deceased's wife Rima Khatun told reporters that her husband, the deceased Emdadul, called her on his mobile phone on Friday night to tell her that some people had given him interest money but could not pay the money and that he was going to commit suicide by consuming gas tablets because a local man was pressuring him to give him three and a half...
