Dhaka, May 23 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has warned that the party will find it increasingly difficult to continue cooperating with the interim government if a concrete roadmap for national elections is not announced by December.
Speaking at a press conference at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan on Thursday, BNP Standing Committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said, "Our top priority is to establish a politically elected government in line with public aspirations as soon as possible.
Therefore, we demand an immediate announcement of a specific roadmap to hold free, fair, and inclusive elections by December 2025."
