Dhaka, March 30 -- The BNP will once again take to the streets if the interests of both its members and the people are threatened, said the partys Secretary General, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, on Saturday.
"At present, we are not demonstrating on the streets. Instead, we are reaching out to people by distributing iftar items and Eid gifts, standing by them in both their happiness and hardships. However, if any obstacles arise against the interests of the party and the people, we will once again take to the streets," he said while handing out Eid gifts to the underprivileged in the Beraid area of Badda.
