Dhaka, Dec. 3 -- BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury on Tuesday said their party would shift its focus from large-scale infrastructure projects to grassroots-level investment if it returns to power, ensuring that development benefits reach ordinary citizens.
Khasru said "many major projects have already been completed. Our priority now is to make sure a village craftsman someone producing tools or handmade items can market products on platforms like Amazon or eBay. That is where we intend to channel our investments,".
Speaking at an event titled 'Future Bangladesh Challenge 2025' at a city hotel, he said the BNP aims to empower marginal producers so they can access global markets.
