Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called a meeting of the party's Standing Committee at noon on Monday at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan.

The meeting will begin at 12:30pm, followed by a press conference at 3pm at the same venue, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

BNP's divisional organising secretaries have also been asked to attend the meeting at the Chairperson's office. Party sources said Tarique Rahman, who will join the meeting virtually from London, will chair the session, while other Standing Committee members will be present in person.
