Dhaka, Aug. 28 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has extended its support to Mohammad Imran, injured during the 2024 July Uprising, by buying his family a new auto-rickshaw to recover from financial hardship.

At a function held yesterday at the Dewanganj Girls High School ground, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi handed over the keys of the auto-rickshaw to Imran and his father as the chief guest.

Imran, a resident of Matherganj upazila in Jamalpur district, sustained a bullet injury to the head during the anti-discrimination student movement last year in the Bypail area under Ashulia Thana.
