Dhaka, April 24 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman affirmed on Wednesday that his party seeks no revenge through retaliation, but justice through the realization of its 31-point reform agenda, designed to serve the public interest.

"Over the past 15-16 years since the events of 1/11, you have suffered immense persecution. You've faced false charges, endured harassment at the hands of the police, and been victimized by tyrants and their collaborators. But we are not looking to repay that cruelty with more of the same," Tarique said in a virtual speech at four separate workshops.
