Dhaka, Oct. 2 -- BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has announced that the party has developed a plan to create employment for 10 million people within 18 months if elected to power.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday evening (October 1) during a visit to the Puja Mandap near Kumudini Hospital in Mirzapur, Tangail, Khasru said,"We have taken up a massive employment plan. If the people give us the mandate, we will recover lost industrial jobs and create new employment opportunities. We've also worked out detailed strategies for self-employment in different sectors and how to implement them."
