Dhaka, May 24 -- A four-member delegation of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) met with Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus on Saturday evening at his official residence, Jamuna, as part of an effort to ease the country's growing political tension.

The BNP team, led by Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, included Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Salahuddin Ahmed. The meeting began at 7:35 PM and focused on the prevailing political crisis, the upcoming general election, and a potential roadmap for restoring democratic governance.
