Dhaka, June 23 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has filed a case against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, three former Chief Election Commissioners (CECs), and 21 others, accusing them of manipulating national elections held during the Awami League's tenure. A total of 24 individuals have been named in the complaint, including former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and four former Inspectors General of Police (IGPs).
The case was filed on Sunday (22 June) around 11:15 AM at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station in Dhaka by BNP's National Executive Committee member Md Salah Uddin Khan. The case has been recorded as Case No. 11.
