Dhaka, July 17 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has warned of possible thunderstorms and heavy rain with gusty winds in seven districts by noon today.
In a warning issued Wednesday morning, 16 July, the department forecasted temporary gusts of 45 to 60 km/h from the south or southeast, affecting Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox's Bazar. Inland river ports in these regions have been advised to hoist Signal No. 1, reports Views Bangladesh.
