Dhaka, July 19 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), with support from the Bangladesh Army, has seized a large consignment of smuggled Indian goods during a special overnight operation along the Sylhet-Sunamganj border.
The coordinated drive, conducted early Friday, targeted multiple border points in the two districts to curb cross-border smuggling activities.
In a press statement, the Sylhet BGB-48 Battalion confirmed that personnel from the Pratappur, Damdamia, Sripur, Bichnakandi, and Sonalichela Border Outposts (BOPs) took part in the operation.
