Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- After the shooting of Inquilab Manch spokesperson and potential independent MP candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Osman Hadi, the BGB has tightened security in all border areas of Sylhet region to prevent those involved from secretly leaving the country.

Security was tightened in the border areas of Sylhet, Habiganj, Moulvibazar and Sunamganj districts since Friday night.

Since Saturday morning, BGB members have been seen setting up check posts in different areas and searching vehicles and suspicious persons.

However, no suspicious person has been reported to have been arrested till Saturday evening.
