Dhaka, March 5 -- To strengthen the security ring and improve public safety, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed across the capital. Since Monday night, BGB personnel have set up checkposts at various locations throughout Dhaka.
Colonel Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Commander of BGB's Dhaka Sector, confirmed the deployment, stating that they are committed to ensuring the safety of the capital just like they do at the border. He mentioned, "We are conducting searches of suspicious individuals and vehicles.
